Job summary

Synthomer, a leading polymers and ingredients supplier, is seeking a Group FP&A Analyst to join the Group Finance team at our global headquarters in Victoria, London. You will deliver high‑quality financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis to support the Executive Committee and Board.

You will partner with senior leaders, drive insights, and contribute to business performance, cost optimisation and strategic planning in a global organisation with diverse product lines.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, or similar analytical finance roles.
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term strategic planning process.
• Analyse performance across divisions, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with budget owners to challenge assumptions and support better decision making.
• Deliver commentary and reporting for senior leadership and investor reporting.
• Contribute to Board presentations and Executive reviews with insights.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and cost‑control initiatives.
• Leverage analytics, automation and AI to enhance reporting and planning.
• Support finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.
