Job summary

Synthomer plc, headquartered in London, is seeking a Group FP&A Analyst for its London Global Headquarters. The role partners with the Head of Group FP&A to deliver budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis that informs Board discussions and executive decision making.

You will lead complex financial modelling, provide insightful commentary, and support cost optimisation and transformation initiatives while collaborating with senior finance leaders.

Qualifications

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance or related analytical finance role.
  • Strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyse performance across divisions, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with finance leads to challenge assumptions and improve decisions.
  • Prepare commentary and reporting for senior leadership and the Board.
