Job summary

Sage in the United Kingdom is seeking a Forecasting Analyst to transform data into decision-ready insights that steer business performance. You’ll develop forecasts, analyse trends, and partner with Finance, Sales and Operations to support budgeting and strategic planning.

This hybrid Newcastle-based role offers three days in the office, flexible working, and opportunities to grow with a growing organisation, using Power BI and Excel to deliver clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in forecasting, financial planning, business analytics or similar analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts to guide critical business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to provide accurate forecasts.
• Build, manage and continuously improve forecasting models.
• Analyse historical performance, market trends and drivers.
• Produce regular forecasts, scenario plans and insights.
• Present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Support budgeting, planning and strategic decision-making.
