Job summary

Broster Buchanan are partnering with a market-leading organisation to appoint a financially astute and strategically minded Financial Controller. The role combines hands-on control with transformation, integration and strategic project work to support growth and a busy M&A agenda.

You will lead a large finance function, oversee reporting, group consolidations, cashflow and treasury, and work closely with board-level stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and value creation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting expertise
• Exposure to complex, multi-entity environments
• Track record of driving change and business improvement
• Experience of systems implementation and finance transformation projects
• Balance strategic thinking with operational delivery
• Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Leadership and development of a large, multi-disciplinary finance team
• Ownership of financial and statutory reporting
• Group consolidations and technical accounting matters
• Cash flow management and treasury oversight
• Supporting acquisitions, integrations and M&A activity
• Driving finance transformation and continuous process improvement
• Leading ERP implementation and optimisation projects
• Managing key external relationships including auditors, banks and tax advisors
• Providing financial insight and strategic support to the Board
