Job summary

Broster Buchanan are partnering with a North Manchester based business to recruit a commercially focused Financial Controller. The role offers ownership of the full finance function and direct reporting into the board, with a clear path to influence commercial strategy.

You will lead monthly management accounts, provide insightful management reporting and drive profitability improvements across the business.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
• Experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong management accounting and P&L analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the full finance function with robust controls and reporting.
• Lead monthly management accounts and management reporting.
• Review P&L performance, investigate variances, improve profitability.
• Report to the board with KPIs and commercial recommendations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Provide financial insight to support strategic growth.
• Drive improvements across processes and systems.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders for performance and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and statutory reporting.
