Job summary

Kenton Black Finance is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function across multiple sites, reporting to the Finance Director and guiding strategic financial performance. You will manage day-to-day activity and partner with stakeholders to drive improvements in financial reporting and governance.

The role includes monthly management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and leading audits while developing the finance team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial accounting and management accounting.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to communicate with non-finance heads.
• Technically sound with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Lead year-end close and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee VAT and statutory reporting obligations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting across multiple sites.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to support commercial decisions.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and financial controls.
