Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment presents a Financial Controller opportunity in Broadstairs, Kent, leading the finance function for a multi-site business. You will report to the MD, steering reporting, budgeting, cash flow and strategic decisions while mentoring an experienced finance team.

The role requires extensive financial management experience, with a focus on modernising processes, improving controls and delivering robust commercial insight for growth and performance. Office-based, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior finance roles such as Financial Controller or Head of Finance.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting capability.
• Experience across multi-site operations and budgeting/forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Review and modernise finance systems and processes to improve efficiency and controls.
• Lead development and implementation of improved financial processes and systems for future growth.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations across multiple locations.
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and commercial insight.
• Mentor and develop the finance team.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting.
