Job summary

Kenton Black Finance seeks a Group Financial Controller for a growing manufacturing group near Poole. You will lead financial operations across multiple sites, deliver robust reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, payroll, and audit support, and drive process improvements in collaboration with the Finance Director.

Leading a small team, you will provide strategic financial analysis to support decision making and help maintain financial health and compliance within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a senior Financial Controller role with strong commercial acumen.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and management reporting.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage a small finance team.
• Solid experience implementing/process improvements across finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and month-end close across multiple sites.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Oversee payroll, VAT, and statutory returns and ensure compliance.
• Maintain general ledger, reconciliations and intercompany processes.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to support operational decisions.
