Job summary

Partner Financial is recruiting a Financial Controller to elevate reporting quality and strengthen business partnering within a growing, P/E-backed services group. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will lead month-end close, provide robust management information, and coordinate audits, while supporting strategic finance upgrades and a high-control environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience in industry.
• Strong operational finance experience covering management reporting and financial control.
• Exposure to business services or facilities management sectors is a plus.
• Developed communication skills and ability to influence senior management.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Appreciation of strong controls and reliable information.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and reporting packs with variance analysis and commentary.
• Support upgrades across finance and IT systems and the control environment.
• Coordinate the annual audit and manage corporation tax & VAT returns.
• Support treasury management including cash flow forecasting and bank relationships.
• Assist in budgeting and rolling forecasts with the Group Head of Commercial Finance.
• Lead, manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Assist in acquisitions integrations and continuous improvement projects.
• Produce ad hoc board reports and analysis for senior stakeholders.
