Job summary

MacNeil Shellfish Ltd in Scotland is seeking a Financial Controller to own finance across a multi-entity international group, reporting to the Fractional CFO and owners. The role demands strong technical accounting, governance and hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead monthly management accounting, cash flow forecasting, VAT across jurisdictions and drive controls, automation and clear commercial insight while developing the finance function toward potential Finance

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ICAS/ICAEW or equivalent.
• Experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management experience.
• Multi-entity accounting and international VAT exposure.
• Experience strengthening financial controls and improving processes.
• Strong Excel and finance systems capability.
