Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting a Financial Controller/Head of Finance for our Bradford-based client. You will lead the finance function, report to the Managing Director and oversee a team of around 10 staff, delivering robust controls and financial insights to support strategic decisions.

The role demands ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, strong reporting, and leadership within a growing SME with turnover between £50m and £100m+.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required with proven senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and ability to present complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and people-management abilities in an SME Finance function.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance department and staff.
• Oversee all financial reporting, treasury, insurance and compliance activities.
• Deliver weekly, monthly and year-end reporting packs with insightful commentary.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital; support commercial decision-making.
