Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting a Financial Controller in Leeds. You will lead financial reporting, controls and budgeting, delivering accurate multi-entity statements and statutory compliance. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on input in month-end and year-end processes.

You will partner with senior management to drive efficiency, streamline consolidation, and enhance KPI reporting while managing payroll, pensions and CIS/VAT returns as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Experience at Financial Controller level.
• Experience multi-entity accounting and group consolidations.
• Experience with external audits and lender relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly reporting processes and ensure timely management information.
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) across entities.
• Prepare Board packs with commentary and analysis of performance.
• Produce weekly cash flow forecasts and support funding discussions.
• Drive improvements and automation across accounting processes.
