RG Consultancy in Headingley, Leeds, is looking for a qualified Financial Controller to lead the finance team and report to the managing director. You will own the financial function, ensure robust reporting, and provide commercial insight to support growth.

This hands-on role combines day-to-day finance management with strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, and continuous process improvement to enhance financial visibility and control across the business.

Competenze

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience at Financial Controller level in SME or growing business.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day finance function with accurate information.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Provide financial analysis highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for growth.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensure strong finances.
• Oversee reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain robust controls and processes; work with auditors.
• Lead relationships with external accountants, banks and advisers.
• Support strategic projects and investments with financial insight.
