Job summary

Low Carbon Contracts Company seeks a Finance & Procurement professional to lead statutory reporting, valuations, and new scheme implementations. You will own accounting treatments, controls, and system design, bridging scheme design with finance delivery and ongoing reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities include coordinating audits, managing external stakeholders, and ensuring IFRS compliance while shaping robust schemes and finance processes for BAU operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent international qualification).
• Experience producing IFRS statutory accounts and managing external audits.
• Experience translating accounting and reporting requirements into operational processes, controls and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory reporting and audit activities for schemes and transformations.
• Oversee finance implementation of new schemes and improvements in systems and reporting.
• Design and configure Sage X3 (or successor systems) including COA and hierarchies.
• Own finance reporting and control framework for new schemes, including reconciliations and disclosures.
• Prepare valuations and disclosures for schemes in Annual Report; manage IFRS 9 disclosures.
