Job summary

Low Carbon Contracts Company in Birmingham and Leeds is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead day-to-day management of complex contracts within the Scheme Delivery team. You will coordinate with internal functions and external regulators, own contract processes, negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and mentor junior staff to uphold value for money and investor confidence.

This role reports to the Lead Contract Manager and requires attending the office 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex energy or construction contracts.
• Ability to lead stakeholder relationships across multi-year projects.
• Strong negotiation, change management and dispute resolution skills.
• Knowledge of UK energy policy and CfD is desirable.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of assigned contracts across multi-year projects.
• Lead negotiations, change control, and dispute resolution.
• Provide guidance to junior contract managers and mentors.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (Ofgem, DESNZ, etc.).
• Ensure deliverables align with scheme objectives and investor confidence.
