Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with social housing experience preferred.
• Experience in treasury, development or business planning within social housing.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning skills.
• Proven financial modelling and scenario analysis capabilities.
• Ability to challenge and influence senior/non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning including financial modelling and scenario analysis.
• Oversee treasury reporting, cash flow forecasting and funding decisions for development schemes.
• Monitor loan covenants, lender returns and regulatory metrics.
• Input into long-term Business Plan including stress testing.
• Review development cash flows, appraisals and scheme performance with Development team.
• Prepare development budgets and forecasts and provide financial challenge on proposals.
• Lead Development Fixed Asset and Grants Register integration with the asset register.
• Support month-end/year-end reporting and Board reporting.
• Develop and mentor finance team members.
