Job summary

Bayman Atkinson Smythe are partnering with a purpose-led organisation to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner Financial Reporting in Wirral. You will lead the Financial Reporting, Payroll and Transactional Finance teams, developing and supporting your people.

The role combines financial reporting and control with genuine operational business partnering, delivering monthly management accounts, budgeting, statutory accounts and audit.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong financial reporting and audit experience.
• Experience leading a finance team and partnering with operations.
• Ability to provide insight and challenge to non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Own monthly management accounts and Board financial reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee payroll for ~950 employees and AP.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and balance sheet management.
• Drive improvements to finance systems and reporting.
