Bayman Atkinson Smythe in Wirral seeks a Senior Finance Business Partner – Financial Reporting to lead the Financial Reporting, Payroll and Transactional Finance teams, delivering timely management accounts and board reporting. You will own budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts and liaise with auditors while developing staff and promoting strong financial governance.

• Qualified accountant with strong financial reporting, audit and management experience.
• Experience leading teams and influencing non-finance colleagues.
• Ability to turn financial information into strategic business insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Own monthly management accounts and Board reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee statutory accounts and external audit as main contact for auditors.
• Oversee payroll for ~950 employees and purchase ledger/expenditure.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and balance sheet management.
• Drive improvements to finance systems, processes, reporting and automation.
• Partner with operations to improve financial understanding and performance.
