Job summary

SF Partners in Walsall is seeking a Finance Business Partner (Finance Manager) to sit close to the operational leadership team. You’ll challenge decisions, turn financial information into actions and partner with senior non-finance leaders to influence strategic outcomes.

You’ll manage a small team of two Finance Assistants/Analysts, own monthly close and reporting, develop forecasting models, and drive improvements in finance systems and processes to support growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong commercial instincts
• Experience leading a small team
• Ability to challenge, influence and communicate
• ERP development, business transformation or acquisition integration exposure

Responsibilities

• Provide a business partnering service to units, challenging the management team in delivering results
• Develop relationships with senior stakeholders, including directors and business unit leaders
• Influence planning with forecasting models to support business decisions
• Develop analytical tools to drive profitability and overhead analysis
• Maximise finance systems to deliver management information for leadership
• Manage and develop a team of 2 Finance Assistants/Analysts
• Drive standardisation across processes and ERP changes
• Support due diligence projects and non-organic growth initiatives
• Lead month-end close, production and review of income statement and balance sheet
• Maintain a strong financial control environment
