Job summary

Royal Holloway Students’ Union is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the operation of the Finance function and drive robust financial management, reporting, controls and compliance. You will provide strategic financial insight and support decision-making for the Union’s sustainability, working with the Head of Finance and Resources and Management Team.

The role includes leading, supporting and developing a high-performing Finance team, with a 35-hour week and a salary of £53k–£58k,

Qualifications

• Experience leading a finance function
• Strong financial reporting skills
• Experience with statutory compliance and governance

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of the Finance function.
• Oversee robust financial management, accurate reporting, strong internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Provide strategic financial insight to support decision-making and sustainability.
• Lead, support and develop a high-performing Finance team.
• Collaborate with Head of Finance and Resources and the Management Team to align resources with priorities.
