Colbern Limited in Redditch is seeking an experienced Financial Services Manager to lead core finance functions within its shared service arrangement with Bromsgrove District Council.

The role covers financial planning, budget setting and monitoring, payroll, exchequer services, treasury management, capital accounting, insurance and risk management, with strategic and operational responsibilities from day one.

Qualifications

• Extensive post-qualification Local Government finance experience.
• Experience managing capital and revenue budgets.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Proven leadership and report presentation to senior officers.

Responsabilités

• Lead operational and strategic management of financial planning.
• Oversee budget setting and monitoring.
• Manage payroll, exchequer, treasury and capital accounting.
• Coordinate annual budget processes and statutory accounts.
• Monitor revenue and capital expenditure; lead risk management.
• Provide financial leadership and governance across the organisation.
