Job summary

Harron Homes Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide strong financial oversight across two regional operations. You will own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and business partnering, while developing a small finance team.

The role demands challenging assumptions, supporting commercial decisions and improving financial management across the group. You will work closely with senior operational teams and report to the Finance Director.

Qualifications

• You will be a qualified accountant with strong experience in financial control, management accounting, forecasting and commercial finance.
• Experience managing and developing a small finance team and partnering with senior operational stakeholders.
• Proven ability to challenge assumptions and support commercial decision making.
• Experience in housebuilding, construction or project-based environments is desirable.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end reporting and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review management accounts with commentary against budget and forecasts.
• Identify risks, opportunities and material movements.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
• Maintain regional cash flows and site profitability forecasts.
• Support budgeting, reforecasting and forecasting models.
• Coordinate banking, covenant and cash-management activities.
• Partner with regional directors to drive commercial insight and accountability.
• Mentor the Management Accountant and Assistant Management Accountant.
• Drive finance process improvements and ensure robust controls across regions.
