Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. is seeking a hands-on and strategic Group Finance Manager to lead our finance function across Stoke-on-Trent, Oldbury and regional hubs. This hybrid role supports growth, strengthens financial controls and oversees acquisitions integration.

You will report to the Group Finance Director. You will manage the finance team, deliver monthly management accounts, and provide commercial insight to the Board and Senior Leadership Team, while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or MAAT qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience producing and reviewing management accounts.
• Leadership experience heading finance teams.
• Strong understanding of controls, statutory reporting and compliance.
• Proficient budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Ability to translate financial data into commercial insight.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
• Experience in a growing, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: manage and develop the finance team with clear performance expectations.
• Reporting & Insight: own monthly management accounts and Group commentary.
• Planning: lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and working capital oversight.
• Compliance: maintain statutory compliance and financial controls across entities.
• Strategy: provide commercial partnering to operational leaders and support decisions.
• Integration: lead finance integration of future acquisitions.
