Job summary

HedgerWay Senior Financial Recruitment is seeking a Finance Director for a UK-based real estate platform operating across Industrial and Commercial Property. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, working closely with shareholders, lenders and senior leadership in an entrepreneurial environment.

The candidate will lead financial control, group reporting, budgeting and board-level insight, while driving systems integrations and capital raising to support scale and value

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) with 10+ years' industry experience.
• Proven UK Real Estate finance professional with strong knowledge of Industrial and Commercial Property.
• Highly proactive, ambitious and commercially minded with experience operating at board and investor level.

Responsibilities

• Build and embed a robust financial control environment, governance framework and appropriate corporate/group structure.
• Lead group reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and board-level financial insight.
• Drive data migration, systems implementation and finance technology integrations to support scale.
• Lead capital raising and financing activity, working with a broad range of equity and debt investors.
• Act as a strategic partner on acquisitions, portfolio performance and long-term value creation.
