The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen, leadership experience and a track record in improving financial management in a growing construction business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong experience in financial control and reporting.
• Experience leading finance teams and partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to forecast, analyse variances and support commercial decisions.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage month end reporting process and deadlines.
• Review monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Identify key risks, opportunities and material movements.
• Review journals, provisions, accruals and estimates.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and controls across regions.
• Prepare regional cash flow packs and site cash flows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and development of models.
• Coordinate statutory accounts and external audit support.
• Mentor Finance team and embed strong financial processes.
