Job summary

Complete Skills Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager to provide financial control and management information for a growing training business in the UK.

This hands-on role collaborates with the Senior Leadership Team to turn accounting data into actionable decisions, strengthen controls and safeguard cash, profitability and balance-sheet integrity.

The postholder will develop forecasting, budgeting, and commercial analysis to support investment and business planning.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and commentary.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and commercial reporting.
• Ability to challenge senior leaders and translate financials into actionable actions.
• Strong Excel modelling and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of balance-sheet reconciliations and month-end controls.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts with commentary for SLT.
• Develop rolling cash-flow forecasts and identify cash risks.
• Lead budgeting, reforecasting and scenario modelling for business planning.
• Provide financial insights on cost, margins, and project profitability.
• Maintain core balance-sheet control schedules and month-end processes.
• Support procurement governance and supplier payment workflows.
• Prepare financial information for Board and SLT with clear actions.
