Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 9 Director of Financial Management to lead the central finance function across ACG, corporate and research portfolios. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, reporting and NHS returns, aligning financial strategy with clinical and strategic aims.

You will shape financial decisions, strengthen controls and support senior leaders with insightful analysis.

Qualifikationen

• CCAB qualified accountant (or evidence of equivalent skills and experience).
• Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience.
• Extensive senior financial leadership experience within a large, complex organisation, preferably NHS or healthcare.
• Knowledge of NHS finance, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Experience leading financial management, planning and transformation programmes.

Aufgaben

• Lead Trust-wide budgeting, forecasting and consolidated financial reporting for ACG, corporate and research portfolios.
• Oversee NHS England returns and clinical income reporting, support contract negotiations and monitor income risks.
• Lead and develop senior finance teams and drive productivity and financial improvement programmes.
• Provide authoritative financial advice to senior stakeholders and ensure robust financial controls.
