Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Band 9 senior finance leader to sit on the leadership team of a newly formed Accountable Care Group. You will lead financial planning for the group, including annual and medium-term plans, and drive recovery where performance slips within a £500m portfolio.

You will work with clinical and operational colleagues to improve productivity, ensure sustainability and provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of NHS financial frameworks and governance.
• Ability to interpret complex activity, workforce and quality data.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of annual financial plan and medium-term trajectory.
• Drive productivity programmes with clinical and operational leaders.
• Provide strategic financial leadership to the ACG Senior Leadership Team.
• Ensure financial sustainability and value in service transformation.
