McLaren Automotive is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to oversee financial business cases for vehicle programmes, partnering with Engineering, Design, Launch and Vehicle Line Delivery to optimise ROI. This role also supports Cost Engineering and Purchasing for BOM cost management across programmes.

You will lead budgets, provide insightful month-end reporting to directors, challenge stakeholders for accountability, and drive process improvements while maintaining budget controls and risk

Formación

• Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACCA / ICAEW / ICAS / CIMA)
• Experience in managing and developing reporting, comfortable with large volumes of data
• Strong system skills including SAP and MS Office, particularly Excel (Pivot tables, vlookups, Power Query)
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to work

Responsabilidades

• Lead business partner for vehicle programmes, managing performance against targets through gateways from concept to production
• Approve budgets at shareholder level and drive accountability at budget holder level
• Manage budgets across Engineering and Purchasing, ensuring appropriate approvals for capex and BOM costs
• Deliver month-end results with insightful reporting to directors and management accounts commentary
• Provide tools to track financial targets and ensure adherence to budgets
• Drive process and efficiency improvements
• Prepare programme KPI reporting across profitability and present to senior leadership
• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts for input into the wider business
• Forecast and report all spend; maintain live risks and opportunities register
