Job summary

McLaren Racing seeks a Lead, Finance Business Partner - Heritage to drive financial governance and partner with Heritage, Engineering, Commercial and Leadership teams. You will shape profitability, investment appraisals and strategic oversight across Heritage programmes and restoration projects.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with senior finance partnering experience in manufacturing, automotive or project environments, delivering robust budgets, forecasts and governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or project-based finance
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and governance skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Heritage Leadership Team, influencing decisions to improve profitability, margin performance and cash generation.
• Lead pricing reviews, business cases and investment appraisals, providing financial insight for proposals, quotations and terms.
• Coordinate cross-functional priorities across the TPC programme to maximise value for stakeholders.
• Partner with the Car Financial Performance Team, applying knowledge of F1 Financial Regulations to strengthen inventory governance and compliance.
• Own the financial control of Heritage programmes and restoration activities from approval through delivery.
• Track costs, hours and margin against budgets, identifying risks and corrective actions.
• Report programme profitability and delivery progress to Heritage and Finance leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting with meaningful KPIs.
