Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Estates to lead construction, infrastructure and estates projects across its UK portfolio. You will drive delivery from business case to completion, coordinating stakeholders, consultants and contractors to meet safety, time and budget objectives.

You will oversee project scope, budgets and plans, mentor junior managers and ensure NEC3 contracts, Building Regulations and CDM compliance are integrated into the lifecycle. Travel to UK sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience delivering construction projects and leading project teams.
• Experience delivering projects in client-side environments.
• Knowledge of RIBA stages and construction lifecycles.
• Experience managing budgets, cost plans and risks.
• Experience with Building Regulations and CDM Regulations.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (PM/Construction).
• Professional accreditation (APM/PRINCE2/CIOB) desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading delivery of estates and construction projects across multiple UK sites.
• Defining and managing project scope, objectives, budgets and delivery plans.
• Managing project teams and embedding a health and safety culture.
• Managing external consultants and contractors throughout delivery.
• Monitoring and reporting project costs, schedules and risks.
• Mentoring junior Project Managers and promoting best practices.
