Job summary

London South Bank University is seeking an Estates Data Analyst to lead the management, analysis and development of space and workplace data across the LSBU estate. The role focuses on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights to inform estate strategy, investment decisions and workplace transformation.

You will work with IWMS, CAFM platforms and BI tools, communicating findings to senior leaders and collaborating across Estates and the wider University to optimise space and support

Qualifications

• Experience working with complex datasets and producing meaningful analysis for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Knowledge of IWMS, CAFM systems or comparable property data platforms.
• Strong expertise in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
• Experience of space management, workplace analytics, estates planning or real estate analysis.
• The ability to communicate complex analytical findings to a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
• Knowledge of database management, data integration and governance principles.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining space and property data within the University's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
• Analysing occupancy, utilisation and building performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Developing dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear and actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
• Supporting feasibility studies, business cases, space audits, occupancy reviews and workplace transformation projects.
• Contributing to the development of the LSBU Group Space Strategy through robust data analysis and modelling.
• Championing evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement in space management practices.
