Job summary

Whittington Health NHS Trust seeks an Electronic Patient Record Communications Manager to lead the communications and engagement workstream for the EPR procurement and implementation programme.

Joining during procurement, you will shape the communications and change approach from the outset, ensuring colleagues, patients, carers and partners understand the case for change and are actively involved in the transition to the new EPR system.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field
• Evidence of continuing professional development in communications and engagement
• Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. CIPR, CIM)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy for the EPR programme from contract award through mobilisation, implementation, go-live and business as usual.
• Design and implement an integrated internal and external communications plan that builds awareness, confidence, understanding and readiness across all phases of the programme.
• Develop clear, accessible and compelling content to explain the purpose, benefits and impact of the EPR, translating complex technical information into messages for clinical and non-clinical audiences.
