Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) seeks a highly experienced Digital Services Manager to provide strategic leadership of digital services across primary, secondary, community and mental health care. You will lead senior teams, deliver medium- and long-term plans, and ensure KPI/SLA targets are met.

You will drive governance, budgets, contracts, and service improvements, with a strong emphasis on ITIL practices and stakeholder engagement across NHSS.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level, preferably Masters, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of ITIL (Best Practice Qualifications) is preferred.
• Managerial competencies include excellent teamwork, communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and customer focus are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams assessing and implementing new technologies in complex environments across care sectors.
• Maintain fit-for-purpose operational services, support, contracts and engagement across care settings.
• Develop and deliver medium- and long-term strategic plans for digital services.
• Ensure safe, secure processes and governance, aligned with NHSGGC and national policy.
