Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank is seeking a Head of Digital Application Support to lead the Digital Services Applications Support Teams. You will manage a team of 15 FTEs, plan and supervise development and integration of clinical and corporate systems, and ensure availability and continuous service improvement within the ITIL framework.

Applicants should have a degree in IT/computing or equivalent leadership experience, strong problem solving and communication

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in IT computing subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading dynamic applications support, development and integration teams.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management methodologies (ITIL/similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Digital Services within NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital.
• Oversee Applications Support Teams for Clinical & Corporate systems and Systems Integration.
• Plan, co-ordinate and supervise development and lifecycle improvement of the Applications estate.
• Ensure system availability and Continual Service Improvement across the portfolio.
