Job summary

Woodstock House School is seeking a Deputy Head of Inclusion to provide strategic leadership across inclusion, SEND, therapies, admissions and transitions for pupils aged 4–19. You will lead SENCOs, therapy teams, and Learning Support staff to build a cohesive, evidence-based improvement culture.

You will collaborate with families, local authorities and professionals to ensure high-quality provision, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for every young person, with ambition and compassion guiding

Qualifications

• Substantial experience leading SEND provision and therapy services.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Ability to develop people and work constructively with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Make inclusion strategic and lead high-quality SEND provision.
• Bring teams together to translate professional recommendations into practical support.
• Manage admissions processes with families and local authorities.
• Oversee transitions across classes, key stages and post-school routes.
• Champion Looked After and Previously Looked After Children and their voices.
