Job summary

CAF Rail UK Limited is searching for a Demand Planning and Stores professional to manage material and service demand across all UK projects, including overhaul facilities. The role includes leading demand planning, optimizing reorder points, and acting as SAP Key User during the UK SAP rollout.

With proven supply chain experience and ERP proficiency, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, data accuracy and compliance with CAF standards, delivering KPI

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning and supply chain activities.
• Advanced Excel skills: macros, pivot tables, formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems is required or highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand planning, inventory parameters, and reorder proposals across UK projects, depots, and Overhaul Facilities.
• Monitor material consumption for corrective spares and define reorder levels per CAF policies.
• Produce and manage weekly reorder list for Central Stores to prevent stockouts.
• Prepare monthly material reorder proposals based on consumption, lead times, and stock needs.
• Act as SAP Key User for Demand Planning and support implementation, testing, data governance, and migration in the UK.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align with CAF SA supply chain standards.
• Produce accurate reports and KPIs for Head of Stores and Logistics.
• Support stores in other projects and locations; assist with periodic stocktaking.
• Collaborate to improve processes and documentation and ensure HSQE compliance.
