Job summary

WSP is seeking a Commercial Lead to provide commercial leadership across a diverse portfolio of complex infrastructure projects within Defence and Security. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, delivering major programmes and building trusted client relationships across the UK.

Initial work will be in the North West of England, with growth into a broader portfolio. The role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership, and a commitment to open, accountable practices within a hybrid

Qualifications

Experience leading commercial aspects of complex infrastructure programmes.
Proven ability to manage contracts and commercial risk across lifecycle stages.
Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and commercial tools (e.g., CEMAR).
Strong leadership, collaboration and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Provide commercial leadership across complex infrastructure projects from feasibility to delivery.
Serve as senior adviser to clients and internal leaders, building credibility.
Collaborate with Defence and Security and wider WSP leadership to plan resources and delivery.
Forecast future resource needs and support recruitment of required skills.
Develop future commercial leaders through coaching and mentorship.
