Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel modelling and forecasting experience.
• Experience with large datasets and analytical tooling.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
• STEM degree in maths/statistics/economics or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workforce, pay, and reward analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models to forecast workforce and financial outcomes.
• Develop cost modelling for pay proposals, policy changes, and workforce initiatives.
• Create scenario analyses and long-term forecasts with variables like growth, attrition, and inflation.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate business and policy questions into analytical specifications and modelling frameworks.
• Produce clear reports and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with policy teams and external stakeholders to support evidence-based decisions.
• Contribute to the development of analytical methodologies and best practices.
