Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Data Analyst to support workforce strategy and policy decisions. You will analyse workforce, pay, and reward data, build advanced Excel models, and forecast scenarios to inform senior leadership.

You will collaborate with policy teams, present findings to stakeholders, and contribute to analytical methodologies, applying strong maths, statistics or economics training in a hybrid UK setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel used for building complex models.
• Pivot Tables, formulas, VBA and macros experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capability.
• Experience modelling complex business, workforce, or financial scenarios.
• Ability to work with large datasets and extract insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver workforce, pay, and reward analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain complex Excel-based models to forecast outcomes.
• Develop cost modelling for pay proposals and policy changes.
• Create scenario analyses and long-term forecasts with key variables.
