Job summary

Certas Energy in Wrexham is seeking a Customer Account Manager to maximise commercial sales opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll combine consultative selling, strong account management, up-selling and cross-selling to grow sales while maintaining profitable relationships.

You’ll handle inbound and outbound communications, manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, negotiate prices within authority, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver market-leading service

Qualifications

• Proven track record in telephone selling and up-/cross-selling.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Time management and resilience with a target-driven mindset.
• Ability to build professional rapport and handle objections confidently.
• Organised with good prioritisation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of commercial products and services.
• Handle inbound customer contact via calls, emails and other channels with a consultative approach.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities including up-selling and cross-selling.
• Negotiate prices within authority to maximise profitability.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts, retain customers and margins.
• Collaborate with other managers to support orders and develop accounts.
• Support new sales activity for fuel and ancillary products and engage lapsed customers.
• Build and sustain strong relationships to prevent churn and protect existing business.
