Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is seeking a Crew Operations Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Ipswich Head Office. The role will manage the crew operations function, including crew rotation, recruitment, and training, with a hybrid working pattern and a 35-hour week.

The successful candidate will lead the Crewing team, oversee scheduling, travel arrangements, and onboarding, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality crew support.

Competenze

• Experience in crew management or crewing operations.
• Maritime or cruise industry experience preferred.
• Experience with crew scheduling and travel arrangements.
• Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented.
• Ability to visit vessels regularly.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day crew management to ensure vessels are properly manned.
• Oversee rotation planning, mobilisation, and travel arrangements.
• Monitor staffing levels and address resourcing challenges.
• Manage recruitment across departments and onboarding.
• Liaise between shipboard teams, shore-based departments, and partners.
• Support crew performance, promotions, payroll updates.
• Ensure compliance with MLC 2006 and company policies.
• Monitor budgets and drive cost efficiencies.
• Develop Crewing Officers and Crewing Coordinator.
