You will coach regional accounting teams, support audit activities, and drive improvements in financial reporting processes, leveraging advanced Excel and Word skills to meet deadlines and ensure SOX compliance across the group.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent English verbal and written communications skills.
• Advanced MS Excel and Word working knowledge.
• Minimum college degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP and SEC external reporting.
• Experience with SOX controls.
• Experience in external audit firm preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and quarterly/annual cycles.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Teamwork and initiative with a can-do attitude.

Aufgaben

• Assist with external group reporting including US capital markets filings (e.g., 20-F, 6-K).
• Assist with variance analysis and analytical reviews for external reporting.
• Support compliance with US GAAP and monitoring new accounting standards.
• Research and preparation of accounting papers on technical issues (US GAAP).
• Identify improvements and automate financial reporting processes.
• Be the control preparer for SOX-related controls.
• Provide external audit support and documentation.
• Coach Regional Accounting teams on policies and procedures; deliver training.
• Support input across departments for accurate financial records.
• Assist wider Corporate-Accounting team with internal controls testing.
• Support Senior Finance Director with deliverables in their absence.
• Project manage ad-hoc finance team initiatives.
