Job summary

Nscale, based in the United Kingdom, seeks a Manager, Financial External Reporting to lead IFRS reporting, ensuring timely statements and compliance, while coordinating with Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit and external auditors.

The ideal candidate holds ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent and has 5+ years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, with IFRS and UK law familiarity. Strong project management and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• IFRS technical accounting experience required.
• Experience with external financial reporting processes.
• Ability to communicate complex accounting topics to executives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare UK-adopted IFRS annual financial statements including Strategic Report and Directors’ Report.
• Manage US GAAP to IFRS conversion and reconciliation of differences.
• Prepare filings under the group’s facility agreements, including annual and quarterly or half-year statements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, FP&A and Corporate Accounting on disclosures and emerging issues.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide Audit Committee materials.
• Assist with SOX 404 internal controls and documentation.
• Support internal control framework design for future compliance.
