Job summary

Roundabout Ltd in Sheffield is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to lead corporate fundraising and partnerships across South Yorkshire. You’ll identify opportunities, nurture sponsors and create lasting income streams by engaging senior decision-makers in businesses.

You’ll work closely with the Fundraising Manager and Leadership Team to shape strategy, deliver pitches, and grow Roundabout’s corporate income while supporting young people experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales or account management, focused on relationships.
• Confident in approaching senior stakeholders and building partnerships.
• Ambitious, creative thinker with a passion for social impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with Roundabout's long-term strategy.
• Build, nurture and steward relationships with businesses, funders and partners at all levels.
• Deliver compelling pitches and presentations to executives and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to shape strategy, budgets and growth plans.
• Represent Roundabout at networking events and conferences to raise awareness.
• Maintain accurate records in Etapestry and ensure excellent stewardship.
