Handelsbanken seeks a Corporate Banking Manager for our Crawley branch to lead the management and growth of a corporate client portfolio, driving profitable business through lending, wealth, and deposit growth. You’ll attract new customers via focused development and work with professional advisors and introducers.

You will oversee credit processes, profitability, and risk management while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering the bank’s full range of services.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing a broad customer portfolio in relationship banking.
• Experience in business development and attracting new customers.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, credit processes and risk assessments.
• Ability to build long-lasting professional relationships and represent Handelsbanken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of existing and new customers via prospecting and referrals.
• Build relationships with professional firms and introducers to drive sustainable growth.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across product offerings.
• Communicate Handelsbanken's value proposition and local differentiation in a decentralised model.
• Oversee end-to-end credit processes including financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver full Handelsbanken services.
• Operate in line with Risk Management framework and escalation procedures.
