Job summary

Handelsbanken is seeking an Assistant Banking Manager for our Banbury branch. The role focuses on preparing lending documentation, conducting account reviews, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

You will manage lending documentation through to drawdown, liaise with lawyers and valuers, and support branch marketing efforts by building local professional relationships. Strong communication and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills are essential.
• Proven ability to work as a team member under pressure while delivering high quality service.
• Experience with lending documentation and AML/KYC procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of facility letters and account documentation.
• Complete documentary requirements for lending facilities up to drawdown, coordinating with lawyers and valuers.
• Ongoing and annual account reviews to ensure compliance with documentation and requirements.
• Account administration of new and existing customers with direct customer contact and excellent service.
• Liaison with internal departments and external counterparties to deliver high service levels and orderly administration.
• Support marketing initiatives and help branch build lasting relationships with local professionals.
