Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist to lead the review, negotiation, and amendment of contract documents for the Sales Department, ensuring terms align with our commercial objectives and risk framework.

You will provide cross‑functional contractual support across the organization, liaising with UK and overseas lawyers, translating technical and commercial requirements into robust provisions and advising on disputes, variations, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications or equivalent relevant experience in engineering, construction, or law with sound experience as a contract specialist.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and risk management within commercial settings.
• Proven ability to negotiate, draft, and amend commercial agreements and NDAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead review, negotiation, and amendment of contract documents for the Sales Department.
• Provide contractual support across departments; resolve disputes and manage contract variations.
• Advise on GDPR, data protection, NDAs, IP, and general contractual queries.
• Draft, review, and amend NDAs, supplier agreements, customer contracts and T&Cs.
• Identify and mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks with stakeholders.
