Job summary

Get Recruited (UK) Ltd is seeking a Contracts & Procurement Manager in Gloucester to own the contract register, monitor supplier performance and help schools achieve value for money.

You will report to the Head of Procurement, work with finance and budget holders, and travel occasionally to organisational sites. A background in contract management with drafting and negotiation experience is essential. Home working is available, with a 36-hour week and an enhanced pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting, negotiating and administering complex contracts.
• Track record managing contract lifecycles and supplier relations.
• Able to interpret legal documents and explain requirements clearly.
• Degree in law, business or procurement, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain central contract register with visibility on commitments, dates and risks.
• Manage contracts from award to expiry or termination and plan renewals.
• Monitor supplier performance and advise on renewals and purchasing options.
• Review agreements for compliance with legislation and policies.
• Support tenders and quotations; evaluate options for value for money.
• Maintain procurement records; analyse spend for trends and improvements.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and create records in Sage Intacct.
• Resolve queries and train colleagues on contract responsibilities.
• Travel to organisational sites for meetings and site visits.
