SSE plc is seeking a Contract Manager to join the Procurement & Commercial (P&C) team within Supply Chain. You will support pre- and post-contract procurement for Network Operations projects amid a £600-700m portfolio, with project values up to £70-80m.

The role suits a Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years post-qualification experience, capable of negotiating terms, managing costs, and influencing stakeholders. A permanent, full-time position with flexible options; base locations include Aberdeen,

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience estimating, sourcing management, and cost & budget management.
• Experience drafting/interpreting commercial contracts; NEC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract terms and prices for high-value Network Operations projects.
• Manage handover of assets and customer contracts during delivery.
• Support strategies and identify opportunities within P&C for Network Operations.
• Conduct cost reporting and change management processes.
• Provide post-contract commercial management and negotiate compensation events.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
